What is rebalancing?
In our society, emphasis is very much on thinking and knowing. Often we have become estranged from our body and we have forgotten to feel clearly who we are and what we want. Rebalancing is a combination of inquiry (introspection) and bodywork and aims to make you aware of your body, your feelings and your thoughts.
Rebalancing helps to investigate the obstacles to relax, to have space and a sense of freedom.
Why rebalancing?
The body possesses great wisdom and has preserved everything that you could not or did not want to feel until now. If you go to a rebalancer, you are willing to inquire in what your body is telling you. Many complaints can be changed by more body awareness.
The reasons for going to a rebalancer can be very diverse:
- physical complaints such as tension, pain and fatigue
- to gain insight into the emotional side of certain complaints
- get to know yourself better and more deeply
- make or strengthen the connection between body, emotions, mind and soul
- Instead of just thinking wanting to feel more and move into your being
- emotional instability, restlessness, numbness
- mourning for large and small loss
- spiritual inquiry
- relationship problems
- just curiosity
How does rebalancing work?
Rebalancing consists of a combination of inquiry and touching (body work). It can also only consist of inquiry, without bodywork. Rebalancing promotes better listening to yourself and appreciation of who you are. Rebalancing serves as a resting point in the flow of thoughts, feelings and experiences. You learn to inquire, articulate and be with your feelings.
By understanding and releasing tension, your body becomes softer and more flexible. You will feel liberated and lighter. In addition to inquiry, we will use different methods of body work. Sometimes it will be soft and subtle, sometimes deep and firm. By experiencing physical tension, emotions stored in the past can come to awareness and become accessible for exploration.
You will enjoy life more and experience it as an adventure.
